Old Eric - good to know that you are doing better. Sorry about your parents... Dementia and eventually Alzheimer's took my Mom several years ago. It's a horrible disease. Be well sir.

Been there, and it was times like that when the motorcycle, and a short ride (alone) on it became a mental health issue.
BTW: Both my BSAs were rock solid.
Mine was a 441 Victor Special. I named it Walter after Walter Matthau who often played the grumpy old man. It needed more work than I could give it so I sold it on to a collector.

Re: Riding during the shut down.
The 441 was a 'modern' BSA made in the era when the bean counters took over the business. It wasn't bad enough they were facing stiff competition from the Japanese but they were were buying parts for their bikes based purely on price. RIP BSA.

We have a Mosque in Toms River and I don't hear anything. I'm sure if they were having services someone would be screaming.Nick wrote:not to get political/religious but, i'm not hearing anything about closing mosques?
Now our Jewish friends in Lakewood - that's a whole different story.
