Found a great lunch spot
I have a place 10 minutes north of me, in Branchville, that makes the most incredible burgers, chicken sandwiches, smoked gouda mac and cheese, empanadas, etc......comfort food X 10. How about a burger with brie, garlic mayo, and zinfandel braised onions? It is to die for! Little far north for the vast majority of you guys but you are men are you not? Ha Ha.....Devo reference.....I go at least once a week, whether out riding or for a quick lunch break when working from home, which is most of the time. I got out yesterday for an hour on Rita Strom, which is more impervious to road salt than the other bikes and I just don't care as much if it gets roughed up. Heck, it's an adventure bike......it should be dirty and roughed up!. Plus I had to test out my new skid plate. link to The Barnyard below. This place and Build a Burger in Tarrytown makes the best burgers I have found. And the Italian chicken sandwich is equally delicious.....Antibiotic-free chicken breast (GRILLED OR FRIED) topped with mozzarella, pesto mayo, arugula, and roasted red peppers with a balsamic glaze.
You have to try this place. Eric, you are relatively nearby so no excuse if you don't try it!

Looks great both ride and menu wise.
Of course you bring this up the day of our first snowstorm and riding to Lafayette won't be happening anytime soon

Re: Found a great lunch spot
Just gat back from lunch there with my wife.....went healthy for the new year and did Caeser salad and grilled chicken and housemade croutons.......yummy! April is not that far away...........hang in there. The way to come up, if you want to enjoy the ride, is up 519 or up 611 on the PA side, and then over 521 or Walpack Road......then it's a great ride! But I know for most of you just getting to Frenchtown is a hike. Still........next time up this way.......this is the place to go.

I’m up for a lunch there when winter breaks. Looks like 206 all the way up. Could be worse in this shit state.

I am always looking for good ride and lunch spot. It looks like rt519 might be a better choice than rt206.

I like 519 way more than 206, and if you have the time, going up 611 and over thru Blairstown on 521 or Walpack Road thru the park is just a spectacular ride! Royalenfield, have I asked you about your screen name? Do you have an RE? I have a Classic 500 that is a hoot to ride.
