THE MOTOGUZZI CENTENARY WILL BE CELEBRATED AS DESERVE IN SEPTEMBER 2022
Lario Mandello, July 30, 2021-The 2021 edition of the GMG - Guzzi World Days and Centenary Motoraduno will not be held, as planned, from September 6 to 12 in Mandello del Lario a cause of the Covid-19. pandemic situation
With great regret Moto Guzzi, the Mandello del Lario Municipality and the Organizing Committee of Motoraduno had to take note of the indications of the authorities and recommendations regarding the health situation, taking the most suffering of the decisions, i.e. cancellation of the event.
The current conditions, and the resulting limitations imposed by the state of the pandemic, would in fact seriously compromise the possibility to offer the many thousands of enthusiasts, predicted coming from around the world, an event up to expectations.
Centennial celebrations are only postponed, however, the City of Mandello and Moto Guzzi will make sure that in 2022 this important event can be celebrated in safety, freedom and total fun.
Riccardo Fasoli, Mayor of Mandello del Lario:
′′ We hoped for it until the last but the evolution of the pandemic didn't allow the easing of the anti-contagion measures we hoped for. There are no conditions to be able to offer an event that is up to expectations and the unrepeatable celebration of 100 years. The postponement will allow enthusiasts around the world to celebrate with us in Mandello in a true motorcycle with full safety and serenity ".
Passionate riders won't find events, animation and all the attractions of these kind of events in Mandello. For visitors who decide to gravitate in the area in those days anyway, Moto Guzzi will keep the Museum open but with a strong contingent of entrances which, according to protocols, will only take place after booking and with the adoption of all the measures under the regulations.
