V85TT 4000 miles review
Good comprehensive higher mileage review by an owner, not a journalist.

Instead of posting that video, why don't you just ask Cam to give his impressions. He's near that mark now isn't he?

I'm mostly posting it for Cam's sake. Maybe it could serve as a prod for him to post his experiences with the bike. We know how much Cam likes to type.....

Nice review - motivating me to upgrade from the V7.

Re: V85TT 4000 miles review
I'm closing in on 5K miles. I concur with the reviewer, although I have no basis to compare it with a GS. Is taller than I expected, even with the lowered seat. Still very manageable, unless Kev decides to stop on a steep hill in the pouring rain to discuss directions. I have to install the much lighter "Y-pipe" I got for Christmas to eliminate the weight and heat from the stock cat/con. I see no reason to switch out the stock muffler. Couple minor recalls - peg springs and potential rear drive leak. Neither an issue on mine. However, Guzzi did extend the 2 year warranty to 3 years to compensate for the perceived hassle. I'll take it!
LOVE the bike.

Cam - How does the bike do on rough roads compared to the V7? The one complaint I have about my bike is it's somewhat jarring ride. Nothing $2-3K in suspension updates wouldn't fix but I'd rather put that towards a new bike.

MUCH better. Stock suspension is actually very good.

I hope it's better in the rough than a V7. After all it is a Dual Sport Motorcycle
Here is a teaser for you...

If they don't cancel my trip to Italy this summer I'll try to find out a little more about it.
