Winter upgrades? Empty Winter upgrades?

Is anybody doing any upgrades on their bikes? I picked up a video recorder for the V85TT. Also received a box of parts needed to get the LeMans up and running again - carb kits, gaskets, oil change and clutch cable should take care of most issues.

I bought some new tires for the V Strom.......does that count? Metzler 80/20 for the rear and Conti TKC70 for the front......a little more aggressive tread than the matching Metzler. Like a little more front end grip for the gravel and marble dirt roads. Getting them installed next weekend.

I'd say that counts...

Got out for 40 miles yesterday....58 degrees, woo hoo! Only have the rear mounted but traction was excellent on this dirt road approx 1.5 miles from my house. I have very few unpaved in my area but this is a beautiful spot so had to take a shot. I mixed a Conti front with the Metzler Tourance rear......got that one for $150 shipped and it was maybe $90 more for the Conti rear, and I like the tread pattern on the Metzler. They should play well together.
