MGNOC NJ Rep
Just putting feelers out. I’ve been doing it for almost 20 years, and I think it might benefit us if someone else takes the helm. Anyone interested? The pay sucks (free MGNOC membership), and doodies (hee hee) include planning monthly breakfast/lunch meets, possible NJ Rally/camp out, and other events. Only requirement is having a passion for Moto Guzzi and spreading the gospel.
I know I JUST retired, but I think we need some new blood.

If not for my current work situation (skip reporting to the SVP / no air cover) I'd consider it. Let's see what unfolds with getting my boss' position back filled. Once that happens I'll only have one job instead of 2.

I just got a promotion at work and am finishing up my 2nd year as the president of my work association's section. I could barely keep that on track through covid. So even though I carry the "Younger" moniker, I will pass.

Well, unless the market rebounds after the elections I may wind up just semi-retiring. Part time contract work will still be better than 10+ hrs every day.

You don’t have to be “retired” to be the NJ Rep. I’ve done it for almost 20 years. Plan monthly breakfast/lunch meets, and promote the Guzzi brand. Maybe a NJ rally or camp out down the road?

I hear you Cam but by the end of the day work and my son's messy divorce leave me with no mental bandwidth, and I don't feel I could do the position justice.
That said if you have to let it go sooner and nobody else will step up I'll take it on.

Re: MGNOC NJ Rep
Hi Cam. After 10 months of basically doing two jobs, Mr. Big has finally filled the missing VP slot and it's not me. With someone new coming in to offload some work and be a buffer to Mr. Big I feel I can take on the NJ Rep job.
Had an email exchange w/ Frank and the responsibilities he outlined don't seem all that much more than I've already been doing as an active member.
Let's connect offline and talk about the transition. Not so sure about implementing mandatory in-person meetings and collecting dues though
