Taking a ride after I crabgrass treat the front yard. Had it completely re-seeded last year but the landscape company screwed up by using shitty seed that had crabgrass in it.
Will head west toward Sky Manor / Clinton area and swing by my son's house in Asbury.

Was thinking of taking a ride to Cycle Gear in Cherry Hill, tomorrow. Looking a pair of boots.
Just went today. What do you have in mind for tomorrow?

Took the long way out to Sky Manor - all told about 75 mi today. They have a more upscale menu now and it's a no longer a bargain. Grilled sandwich, fries and iced tea cost $18. It tasted great and the service was good. Surprised how good the stock seat and suspension is - compared to the V7 it's a rolling lounge chair

There were also a couple WWII era jeeps there. This one was the best of the lot.

I was out riding the past two days too. Finished up some maintenance plus a new back tire at 42K on my Cali. I had the swing arm off to look at and grease the pivot bearings. They were well greased from the factory, which was a little bit of a surprise considering the Wild Guzzi forum entries to the contrary.
My driveshaft was nice and tight but the aft Universal-Joint was notchy so I disassembled it, cleaned it all out, greased and reassembled it. Good as new now. BTW, Piaggio does not sell replacement U-Joints, just the whole drive shaft for $900. The U-Joints are held in with circlips plus a mild interference fit, not too difficult to disassemble. The needle bearings were tricky.

Must have learned that from Beemer. Bad U-joint they install a new drive shaft ($1200). The joints are tack welded in place and BMW doesn't sell replacements.dennisjay wrote:
