Harley factory tour
If your not going to the Guzzi National or the Western NY rally the next few weeks are kind of slim ( I know Laconia and Americade, but I don't see anyone on here going). Would there be any interest in a weekday ride to York, tour the factory, ride thru Gettysburg, hit a motel and ride home the next day. Could do a longer tout of the battlefield and make it two nights.
Harley is closing factories and stopping second shifts, might be the last chance to see them being made.
Any interest ??

Re: Harley factory tour
I stumbled upon a Harley Owners Group Day in York in the early 80s, which included a tour of the factory. I went there again just for the tour in 2014. They have built a new factory, which includes a visitors center. Very impressive, reservations are recommended. I had a reservation and went out the day before and stayed in a motel, so I could be there on time for the tour. Some friends decided to leave the day of the tour and almost missed the starting time, around 10:30, and would not have been able to reschedule for that day.

Bringing this back up.
Would have to be weekday, at least one night.

Done it a few times, usually (but not always) during the York open house because it's nice to have the demos too.
Funny Cam and I just passed by there the other week... I made the sign of the cross as we passed (not sure if Cam saw).
