What should one expect with owning an older Guzzi like this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]? Not too familiar with 80's vintage models and hear stories about chrome bores, limited parts and expensive repairs.

Just the same as any 80's vintage bike.  Chrome bores ended in 83.   Early 80's likely the last bunch of bikes the average guy ( OK motorhead) can keep running.

BTW:  That's a sweetie

I have had no trouble getting parts for my loops over the years. I had more trouble getting parts for my 2001 v11 sport!!
Old bikes are fun to ride and easy to work on! Their seems to be much debate over the chrome bores>>google away!

No chrome bores, parts are plentiful, and easy to work on.

What's not to love?
