Got sacked Wed
Well, I was laid off this past Wed which is actually good news. Was planning to retire in April anyway and now I get a pretty generous severance package to leave Jan 30th though I'll wrap up work mid-Dec. This just makes that happen sooner.
Have quite a few plans for my new-found freedom including some hobby turned PT business ideas. Really looking forward to taking mid-week rides when the roads are more open.

Check out your unemployment benefits, they changed the qualifications during COVID and are very liberal.
That money could fund some motorcycle accessories, gas and tires.

Re: Got sacked Wed
After contributing to the unemployment fund for nearly 45 years I do intend to take advantage of my involuntary separation and file once I'm officially off the payroll on Feb 1st. It will indeed be used as seed money for my part-time used motorcycle business. I need to finish the '84 LeMans 1000 then look for other similar bikes to flip.

HI Erich and CONGRATULATIONS! That is just about perfect luck. It would be great to ride again and I have a good deal of flexibility due to my 25 years at my company and 5 weeks vacation. Best of luck to you!
