Americade

Americade is next weekend 05-30 to 06-03, has anyone gone the last few years?? I spent a couple of days in Lake George on the bike a couple of years ago, not a motorcycle event, just passing through. I was amazed at how many restaurants were closed down, even the McDonalds in the downtown area was gone (the building was GONE). I stopped going to Americade when they moved it to the week before Laconia, it was just impossible to get two four day weekends back to back. I wonder if Americade is as well attended as it used to be???

Family went to the The Sagamore Hotel on Lake George in the second year of Covid and 2/3 of the business we not open. Parts of the hotel were also shut down. Going through the area again on the way to VT this February and there are still many shuttered stores and resteraunts.
