How much are you paying for gasoline nowadays?

Ha ha, that's funny! That picture's worth at least a thousand words.... to answer the question, here in the borough of hills, high test (premium) at the local shell station was, two days ago, 4.899 a gallon. 75 mile ride cost me 10.89!

Local gouge station in Bedminster is charging $6.79 for regular. Best price in the area is $4.59. I'm in Colorado Springs this weekend and I just paid $3.79.

The gap in price vs octane rating looks disproportionate.Nick wrote:Ooops, forgot to post price by me
Looks like Super is a deal. It's funny my Valkyrie (carbureted) runs crappy (mid range) on Super WaWa. Ok on Sunoco. Fuel injected bikes don't seem to care.

Re: Gas prices
I can hear my Guzzis or the Harley pinging under heavy load in hot weather if I run octane much lower than 91. It's no problem much of the year, but as summer comes along I make sure to run 91+.
The Land Rover is supercharged, and moves like it's much lighter than 2.5 tons.... so we fill it with 91 all the time.
The Jeep is a tractor and doesn't care, so it gets 89 or whatever the lowest is.
That said I can't really tell you what any of it costs...... except that it was $77 or something like that to fill the Land Rover Sunday before we drove to PA and back.
Most times I fill at a local WaWa or Sunoco.... sometimes I even ask for a receipt.
