Travel Info

Some travel info I've come across.

I try to avoid toll roads and highways/interstates unless I absolutely need to make time and they're the only option, setting my nav to 'no tolls' and 'avoid highways'.

That's disturbing about the foothills Parkway, they opened the Eastern end about three years ago and my plans to ride it keep getting screwed up thanks to COVID.  Because of funding problems it has taken over 50 years to complete this road, mostly because it's owned by the NPS and not a highway department.
Every time I plan to ride it, the event I plan to go to gets canceled, I'm planning on making the BMWRA rally down there the end of September maybe it will be opened by then.
