Sunday ride
Met with Joe H. and Adam at Stockton NJ and we took the Aprilias for a ride to Nackamixon State Park (PA) today. Beautiful day for a ride.

Re: Sunday ride
Finally got 900 miles on the Goose so I took the Valk out. Went down to Sweetwater Casino on the Batsto River. It burned down five or six years ago and they had a hard time getting permits to rebuild, but it's back now and worth a trip. Crowded on weekends, bikers, but great on weekdays, outside seating with view of the river.
Has anyone else been there?
If someone is interested in going for lunch - speak up.

I last went a couple summers ago. Think there was also a live band playing outside. Good place for a lunch meet this month (May)? Was it way too crowded on Sunday Harry, or would there be room for a table for us?

Lots of table space (indoors and out), but it would be crowded with the 'biker' crowd. Seeing as we'll likely have less than ten finding a seat shouldn't be a problem. Problem is; it would be a haul for the guys in the North. Hopefully people will voice their opinion about going there.
Here's another option that might work for a lunch sometime; Café Maria, it's between Frenchtown and Sky manor on Rt12 basically a Pizza place with a lunch type menu. Never been there but noticed it one day leaving Sky Manor, and would work for the northern guys. Small place but should be able to handle us, but doesn't look like any outside seating.

Any thoughts on this location?, invitation for everyone to give opinion.

Location and menu certainly works for me! Mother's Day this weekend and have family visiting two weeks later. How about the 16th?

Re: Sunday ride
Harry,
I've go there regularly. I could ride my bicycle there it's so close to me. Its a great idea for lunch there. Giacamo, the owner is an old school Italian - he'll be thrilled to have some Guzzi's in the parking lot.
When we settle on a date, I'll stop in and give him a heads up.

Don't think I have other plans so I'm in pending a check with the social director. The weather forecast looks good at 74 and sunny. Cafe Maria opens at 11, what time were you thinking?

Let's see who is interested. Most meetings are further South, this will be easier for the Northern people. If there is interest maybe Cam will make it the monthly meeting.
