Outlaw all carbureted motorcycles.
One of the guys on the Airhead Forum (BMW 70/80s) was lamenting the fact that in three years he wouldn't be able to license his old bikes.
Seems like in Italy they (government) are using pollution to get rid of old motor vehicles. Maybe Nick can fill in what that's all about.
.
With the new Government getting ready to change America we should be on the lookout for something like this. I don't know if you guys remember but a few years ago there was a bill in the New Jersey legislature to ban all motor vehicles over 20 years old from Jersey roads, it went into the Transportation committee and was tabled (it might still be there).
I thought when the DMV exempted vehicles made in 1995 and prior from inspection the next step would to ban them from use, didn't happen - yet.

Wen I hear stuff like this it makes me think we're going to skip right over socialism and go straight to Marxism or Fascism. .

Re: Outlaw all carbureted motorcycles.
As this thread expands and riders from other Countries chime in it makes me consider how many things we have in this Country that we just take for granted. A simple thing like being able to ride an old motorcycle wherever we want to. Seems simple and innocent but it's being denied to fellow riders in Countries where the people have given up personal rights just to benefit from some so called "FREE" social programs.

Right now I think the only thing that is protecting our 'Right to Ride' is the existence of Harley Davidson.
