The Cat is Back

If your looking to get to Nova Scotia in a hurry the Cat is back running from Bar Harbor to Yarmouth.  The big Cat will get you and your bike there in 3 1/2 hours.  Round trip, with the bike will run about $400 USD which after some thought might not be such a bad deal.  Going around will cost you at least a day each way and at least two nights in a motel (no Motel 6s in New Brunswick) and a few tanks of gas.  Down side is the schedule only shows one run a day.   Now is a great time to plan a ride around the Cabot Trail, the exchange rate has never been better and it's a ride that should be on everyone's bucket list.

I did the Cat about 10 years ago.It was out of Portland to Yarmouth 5 1/2 hours.I also did a over night cruise/ferry about 5 years ago when it was there.I liked the Cat better.
