Verizon is offering a voluntary severance this year that is extremely generous so I 'pushed the button' to register for the buyout. While I'll miss leaving the former Bell System after 30+ years it's just too good to pass up. I now have to wait until Dec 10th to find out if I've been accepted (which I should given age and salary) and when I leave, which could be end of this Dec, Mar or Jun next year.

I'm starting to warm up my networks as I ponder my next and possibly last professional job change so thought I'd inform the group - never know who knows somebody who could use a seasoned technical program manager...
