As far as an August lunch ride, it's possible but unlikely as I'll be in Lavallette for the month w/o the bike - don't want to park it outside near the ocean for that long.

Thanks and it's good to be welcomed! Enjoy Lavallette, it's a great place. We spent some time in LBI in July and the weather was perfect. We are heading to Italy for the month of September and I just created a new topic inquiring about experience in renting a bike etc...Look forward to meeting up someday soon.
Also, what's the best way to find you if there any musicians in our group? The reason I'm asking is I have a friend in NYC who is a Guzzi rider who is organizing a group of musicians who ride - he's the sax player with South Side Johnny...among other bands. I thought it might be fun to find others in this group who have the same interest.

Chris, what part of the state are you from? I am way up north near PA and NY.............as usual, the outlier...........

Chris, being from Metuchen puts you between most of the southern and northern events.  Be sure to check out the Planned Events / Rallys folder too as many members are very active on the rally scene. With my heavy work schedule I'm more of a weekend warrior but the PA rally looks doable if even for a long day-ride. Check it out.
