Business Cards

Post by mogu83 on Mon Sep 18, 2017 11:35 am

I brought this up once before - this will be the last time.

Yesterday I ran into a guy on a Guzzi and went over to say Hi. he had it for a year and rides rarely but he likes the bike (an older 1100 EV). He asked where to get parts or work done and seemed to be unaware of neither the National club or a New Jersey club. I told him about the MGNOC site and our facebook, although very interested, I'm sure he forgot the information I gave him before he sat down in front of a computer.

We really could use some business cards, give everyone a few, and hand them out to people with Guzzis that we run into on the road. It a shame that their are Guzzi riders out there that end up selling the bikes (and bad mouthing the Marque) because they can't get anyone to work (decent work) on the bike or find a place to get parts.

I look at the business card sites on the Net but really couldn't figure anything reasonable out.

Suggestions,thoughts, comments????

Cam had gotten some cards a few years ago, but I forget what they looked like.....
Let's come up with a Title name for the card and it cannot be Moto Guzzi Riders of NJ because, I think Leigh Ann Z. may be using that one.
We could call it Moto Guzzi Owners of New Jersey (like the forum description) and use the MG logo. I don't think MG would have a problem with it, like some other big and more famous marque would  Razz
Cameron may happen to read this and chime in.

I'm pretty busy 'till the first week of October and I could look into it then.

We got our cards from Vistaprint.com. You can upload your own pictures/graphics and they have lots of options and are very reasonably priced. I even have a 20% off coupon from our last order.

Discount code: THANK20

Maybe a link to the forumotion list.
BTW: WE can do a 50/50 or just have people donate to fund this. I'll surely send in a dollar or two. Don't pay for it yourself.

Should we write something in the back of the card?

I suggest leaving the back blank. It would be cheaper.
The person giving out the card could write their name on the back so the person getting the card could use that name to get on the list .

Just ordered 500 for $22.43 (including shipping and NJ sales tax). Thanks Laura for the new discount code. Should arrive by the end of September.

ps.: yes I did delete the space between @ and comcast.net ;-)
